Four channels of pure tube attack power deliver the widest modern range of tones you can expect from an amp. I just wanted to point out a few things that I like about it, so that others may get an idea of what to expect if they decide to purchase this plugin, as it is not cheap. Not just for high gain! It makes it so easy to quickly dial up a great lead sound. And the amp, while beautifully rendered, looks ridiculous in my opinion. Instead, Brainworx's inbuilt Impulse Responses have captured the sound of the 765 using a variety of microphones in a number of configurations, so scrolling through these provides a wide selection of possible treatments. I just wanted to express my deepest accolades for this particular amp sim. The clean channel on this amp is one of the cleanest around.
I owned both of the Line 6 products. If you like to play with the volume knob on your guitar, this is your amp! The built-in Noise Gate helps stifle the annoying hiss often generated when Gain Boost is engaged at very high gain levels. As a byproduct it got out of the way tone-wise with the bass track in the same piece. I really gives me the feel of a great amp with a 4X12. With the Input Gain cranked and the Power Soak turned down, you can drive the amps even harder. So I went to the store again, one of the saddle blocks went. The ability to switch recording chains gives you way more sonic variety than you might expect out of just two amp models.

Both deliver a lot of thick tone and are a lot of fun to play through. The plugin is not very stable on my Logic Pro X however. Again, the bottom section is devoted to guitar tone, this time with four channels of settings to compare and contrast, with Clean, Crunch and two devoted Lead channels.
