I'm facing the same sort of issue. I cannot homegroup them, there is a homegroup it wants me to join that does not exist anymore. I had to do this on each computer in the office. Turning off Netbios jacks everything up. I did nothing, changed nothing, but apparently Windows did an update and I am dead. I am not a computer expert.
