When even a vw technician acknowledges that the parts are defective something needs to be done with vw America, requiring them to replace these parts at their expense with parts qualified to support the vehicles needs.

We're going to adapt the existing harness for clutch cancel, cruise, and reverse switch later on. Vw does not acknowledge that the pressure plate is defective and blames the driver. Any clutch is expected to last at least 90,000 miles. The clutch was replaced by the dealership in order to complete sale. The oil level threaded plug is placed on the car front lateral automatic gearbox surface, follow yellow arrow in the picture below. I do not know what to do to correct the problem.

I did a few auto to manual swaps and a few 5 to 6 speed swaps and quite frankly it is the only way to fly.
Ensure transmission fluid level is correct. The second time I took my car in for a rattle in my clutch. Started bleeding, was making good progress. The 98 and 99 transmissions have an inferior shifter, the 2000 to 2009 beetle or 2000-2005 old jetta, or 2000-2005 old golf will also work. The part has been reported defective in previous models but is still not being corrected or acknowledged as a manufacturer defect, which it is. The auto to manual swap is a weekend job.
Transmission was repaired and failed again. The pressure plate, flywheel, and clutch disc are under-rated for the vehicles stock horsepower. The car was towed the rest of the way towards the dealer and diagnosed as a failed high pressure fuel pump, causing catastrophic fuel system damage. I imagine you might be able to find the others, but I had a hard time doing so. Started about a year ago, at times my car will start at the turn of the ignition and sometimes it will not. I, as a moderately skilled driver, after over a year driving the car everyday, still stall the vehicle periodically.
