This is a very nice, olid Chevy pickup. There is light to heavy surface rust starting in these spots I would take care of these soon pics are included. Only 3 owners, the most recent having owned the car since 1979. It has chevy truck 12 bolt open rear I want to say 373 gears looks rebuilt. The factory framerails were C-notched for clearance and the suspension upgraded using 2-inch Bell Tech drop spindles along with rejuvenated disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. Doors operate nice and overall function well.
All exterior chrome emblems do have quite a bit of pitting. I keep her in the garage at all times. The build was a great project for the two men and thankfully father-in-law Jess Heacock got to see the completed truck before he died in 2009. All lights and gauges work. This truck is a great classic driver, and has taken awards in many local shows.
Fun to drive with three on the tree manual trans and manual bakes and steering. Note that door weatherstrip looks to be original as well. It has the original dash pad, hich is very nice, ith no cracks. Overall it is the nicest cab I have seen. My wife, Barb, and I really enjoy going to new shows, meeting friends, hanging out, and having fun. Joe VanNus of Dutchboy Hot Rods in Kalamazoo, Michigan, handled much of the bodywork and sprayed the beautiful Deltron Bright Amber paint, completing the job right about the time that everything changed. There is no rust in the inner rockers, ab supports or floorboards that I could find.
Many original parts also included, including chrome bumper. The cab corners are really nice on the drivers side. Door panels were contoured to match. This truck is very straight, as original paint and has no signs that I could find of ever having been in an accident. Bed looks very nice and fenders are solid.
They delete the wing window and installed electric window they need some fine tuning but they do go up and down. Rad support and battery try look good as well. If you're interested, lease bid. Just had the front end aligned goes down highway nice and straight. Baby moon wheels finish off the look. I know I'll be hard-pressed to find this nice of an old truck, gain. I do have a free and clear title for this truck in my name with no Leins. The mill closed where Richard worked and he found himself unemployed.
Dash is original and shows what I believe to be 64000 original miles. All could be fixed with paintless dent removal. It ran and drove fine, ith no problems. . They are aligned correctly and open and shut well. This is a one-family owned, hortbed, tepside C10. I did replace door sill covers with stainless chevy repops seen in the pics.
